Lagniappe Ladies
Lagniappe Ladies is the Highland Presbyterian Church women's group. We meet the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. for dinner, fellowship, prayer and study. We recently began a Horizon's Bible study from Presbyterian Women on women in the Bible.
Other activities:
- Sponsor donations for the Battered Women's Shelter of Baton Rouge
- Collect items for victims affected by natural disasters
- Fill Easter eggs for the children's egg hunt
- Hold a cookie exchange at Christmas
- Have a Thanksgiving dinner in November
We alternate meeting in the church Fellowship area with dinner out at a restaurant every third month. All women who are interested are cordially invited to attend a Lagniappe Ladies group, and see what we are all about!
